CrossFit Scottsdale Regional Qualifiers

The 2010 Southwest Regionals will be taking place this weekend at UC Irvine in Irvine, CA. For those of you who are not familiar with the CrossFit Games, THIS IS OUR OLYMPICS!!! The Southwest Region (Hawaii, California, & Arizona) is believed by many to be the most skilled and most competitive region in the world. We’d love to have a big support crew in CA to cheer on EP, Sarge, BK and our Affiliate Cup Team. Tickets for spectators are $50 – that gets you tickets for 2 people for both days. Register as a spectator HERE.

We could not be prouder of our 3 Regional Qualifiers.

Thanks to all the great folks at Crossfit Scottsdale for hosting Nick and I this weekend. We were in town from the Bay area and Atlanta respectively and were looking for a great workout. Suffice to say, we were not disappointed! As a bonus, enjoyed hanging out with many of you at Viva Las Vegas on Saturday night too.

Good luck to the three individual competitors as well as the affiliate team at Regionals this weekend! I know ya’ll are going to kick ass!

How do you feel about running? Do you love running and want to keep getting better and faster? Do you hate running and find it frustrating? In either case, the only way to improve is to KEEP RUNNING. Nobody gets better at anything by NOT doing it. Every great athlete at one point was the new guy, learning, fumbling and failing just like the rest of us. People who have achieved "mastery" don't ever stop the work, though. They exercise their "show up, don't quit" attitude over and over. A great way to make the "work" interesting is to put some "skin in the game" and to do it with a group of like-minded people. Which leads me to...the CrossFit Scottsdale 5K Challenge. Are you in?? Cost is $25.00 per participant. Sign up by emailing infor@CrossFitScottsdale.com or signing up at the gym.
