    BK Goes Pro

    It is with great pleasure, timing and comedy (see video below) that we announce the signing of Coach Brian (B.K.) Kunitzer as a FULL TIME Coach on the CrossFit Scottsdale team . Brian has come a long way in 10 months of training with us. From thick, stocky and 20 lbs over weight and only training 1x a week to a lean, mean CrossFt Games Regional Qualifier with 5.5% body fat.

    More importantly Brian is now doing what he is passionate about. He has decided to leave his desk job as a CPA and come on board full time as a Coach and Manager.   Feel free to talk to Brian about chasing your dreams and achieving your goals.

    Congratulations to all 19,684 finishers in this years Pat Tillman Run. A special shout out to all of Team CFS. Once again you guys ROCKED the house. “Those guys are crazy” I heard a few times this morning. My Crossfit KIDS Dave & Paxton finished in one hour and my girl Alison finished her 1st race ever!

    When we arrived back at the box the 9am class was finishing off the “42″ and gave us a huge welcome that made  us feel like Gladiators. So for a few demented individuals who enjoy long runs carrying heavie loads and PAIN we decided to join the 10am class and … “Oorah” The 1st times are todays, the 2nd are last years and the 3rd is todays “42″.           Come one come all…if you are ready to move into the next stage of your training and want to wear the white band join us on Friday evening at 6:00pm for the L1 test…if you want to see what it’s all about, come and cheer your teammates on. Please be sure to bring your Success Journal so that a Coach can mark off what you pass/fail and your times. To qualify, your baseline time must be under 5:15 (men) and 6:30 (women) at the intermediate level. You will only be allowed one attempt at each exercise.
